Jodi Davis

Chairperson

Jodi is the President and CEO of Crossroads Staffing. Crossroads was named the largest staffing company by the Pacific Coast Business Times for the last 10+ years and prides itself on customer-driven solutions. Crossroads provides recruitment, training, and interviewing services for businesses throughout California as well as nationwide specialized and executive-level searches.
Jodi has obtained both her PHR (Professional in Human Resources and CSP (California Staffing Professional) accreditations and has been awarded Top 50 Women in Business by Pacific Coast Business Times and Woman Business Owner of the Year by NAWBO. Jodi has been in the staffing industry since 1998 and has served on EAC boards of directors since 2004.

Diane MacKinnon

Secretary

Diane’s recent experience includes Human Resources Director at Adams Wine Group. She is bilingual Spanish and English-speaking professional with over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources.
Diane attended California Lutheran University to complete her SPHR and is a member of Professional in Human Resources Association and the Society for Human Resource Management.

Katelyn Kolakowski

Social Media Marketing

Katelyn is the Staff Relations Programs Manager for The Cheesecake Factory. She has over 10 years of experience working in human resources, with an emphasis on employee relations. Katelyn joined the East Ventura County EAC Board in 2023.

Adam Treiger

Vice Chair

Mr. Treiger concentrates his practice on complex employment and business law counseling and litigation. Mr. Treiger’s employment law practice focuses on litigation prevention and day-to-day employment law counseling, as well as on representing employer clients in federal and state court, administrative or arbitration settings in wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, trade secrets, and wrongful termination disputes. In addition, Mr. Treiger handles a wide variety of business transactions for his clients, including drafting and negotiating all types of agreements, forming legal entities, and handling mergers & acquisitions.
Mr. Treiger is a frequent speaker and blogger who has authored numerous articles and has appeared on radio shows, including NPR’s Morning Edition. Mr. Treiger obtained his law degree magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 1994, where he served as senior editor of the law review and was admitted to the Order of the Coif. Mr. Treiger was admitted to the CA State Bar in 1994.

Laura Withrow

Programs Chair

Laura is an employment law attorney and owner of Withrow Employment Law. Laura has been one of the top-rated employment law attorneys in Ventura County for the past several years and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer for the past five years.
Her practice encompasses all aspects of employment law, including litigation defense, representation of employers in hearings before administrative agencies, management training, and counseling employers on issues relating to employment agreements, commission plans, hiring, firings, and other personnel matters.

David Navarrete

Local Veterans Employment Representative (LVER)

David Navarrete is an active member of the “Business Services Team” and conducts employer outreach and job development on behalf of all veterans within Ventura County. David conducts job development activities in the local community that will also assist members of the Employers Advisory Council in connecting employers with qualified veterans. Conducts outreach and coordinates with unions, apprenticeship programs, and businesses or business organizations to promote and secure employment and training programs for veterans.

Sharon Martin

Treasurer

Sharon Martin is the president of Profit Strategies, Inc., which helps small businesses achieve their vision and profit potential by providing experts in the area of bookkeeping, human resources, and benefit design and management.
Located in Westlake Village, Profit Strategies allows the business owner to tap into resources they would otherwise not afford and can create efficiencies that actually save them time and money, getting them back to what they do best.

James Nagy

Technology Chair

James (Jim) Nagy is a seasoned entrepreneur and strategic leader with over 30 years of experience driving business growth and innovation. As the Co-Founder and owner of Sprocket Websites, Inc. and J&S Tech Designs, Jim has earned recognition for his expertise in digital marketing and business process automation, transforming the online presence and operations of small and medium-sized businesses.

Jim’s leadership extends to ensuring website safety, security, and ADA compliance, reflecting his commitment to delivering effective and responsible digital solutions. Through his work, Jim has championed secure, accessible, and high-performing online platforms that empower businesses to thrive in the digital age.

Jim’s influence extends beyond his professional endeavors. He serves as a board member and Technology Chair for both the East and West Ventura County Employer Advisory Councils, where his passion for technology and innovation and his dedication to empowering local businesses have established him as a trusted advisor and influential voice in the industry.

Amanda Barrios

Hospitality Chair

Amanda is the Human Resources Manager for Rapattoni Corporation, a real estate software company in Westlake Village. She has over 15 years of experience working in Human Resources. Amanda has served as a Board Member of East Ventura Employer Advisory Council since 2009 to positively influence skill development and HR best practices in our local community.

Stephanie Cruz

Employment Program Representative

Stephanie is part of the Employment Development Department’s Workforce Services Branch based in Oxnard. She is a California Workforce Association apprentice and a Certified Business Consultant through the Workforce Development Board of Ventura County. Stephanie joined the East Ventura County EAC Board in 2023.
