Every day, employees present their employer with a notice that they have a medical condition or an illness which may prevent them from successfully performing their duties. As an employer, what are your obligations to the employee, and what are the rights of the employee, when it comes to a disability? In this presentation, we will cover these issues to guide employers through this complex area of the law.

For over 3 decades Cynthia Elkins has represented and defended the interests of businesses and employers of all sizes throughout California providing litigation defense and advice and counsel on all aspects of their personnel and employment law concerns. Cynthia works with her clients with a proactive preventative approach to minimize the potential risk of litigation, but when necessary provides litigation defense in court and before state and federal administrative agencies.

Cynthia speaks regularly for trade associations, the California Lawyers Association, and has been named a Super Lawyer for the past 4 consecutive years.
