Any organization, regardless of size or industry can do better, and we will discuss ways to start today.

About The Speaker

Lauren Davis is the President and Principal Consultant of the Human Resources Practice at KLJD Consulting. Having worked both in-house and as a Senior HR Business Partner in a PEO, Lauren joined KLJD Consulting full-time in January of 2021. Lauren has worked with clients in numerous industries, supporting them with a variety of HR needs, including employee relations guidance and documentation, California and Federal legal compliance, process and policy implementation, culture assessment work, and a multitude of different training sessions.

Although not a practicing attorney, Lauren has a Juris Doctorate, which has served her well in her HR career journey. Born and raised in Southern California, Lauren worked for the City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation as an Administrative Hearing Examiner between 1998 and 2005. Determining that her conflict resolution skill set, along with her legal education, would lend itself well to Human Resources, she began her first HR position in 2005, working for Target Corporation. Lauren’s current clients include both for-profit and non-profit entities located in Los Angeles, Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, and San Francisco.

Her primary focus with clients is to get to know them by developing a strong relationship and learning as much as possible about their businesses. Along with her HR expertise, this allows her to create personalized value for her clients, ensuring that they are legally compliant, have a solid HR infrastructure, and have a consultant who has a deep understanding of their needs.
